Who Am I?
You know what’s really hard to write? Your bio - especially when you’re a wife, mom, and full-time educator struggling to remember (or find out for the first time? not sure yet) who you are. Sometimes I miss the me that used to be, and sometimes I know the best is yet to come.
So, who am I?
I’m the girl that married her high school sweetheart. Almost 20 years later and he still surprises me.
I’m the mom with age-gap kids who thinks it is THE BEST. My kids adore each other. I don’t know how I got so lucky.
I’m an often-anxious perfectionist in recovery. To-Do Lists are my frenemy.
I’m an introvert in a job dominated by relationships. Success, or lack thereof, is directly related to my ability to gain others’ trust. It involves lots of people-ing.
I’m a historian, a documentarian, a note-taker. Details are important to me.
I’m a creator of photographs, cookies, music, change...
I’m a writer trying to live a writerly life.
